Jes Williams has been practicing yoga since 2004.  She started her journey at Baron Baptiste’s studio in Boston where she fell in love with the heat and strength of the sequence.  Moving away from Boston and bouncing from coast to coast, yoga kept Jes grounded through life’s many challenges.  She completed her first 200-hour RYT from Dhyana Yoga in Philadelphia in 2012 with Diana + John Vitarelli, where she specialized in Ashtanga vinyasa. Jes continued her studies with Lisa Murray at Yoga Community in 2014.  This 2nd training focused on the eight-fold path of Raja Yoga.  Her personal practice and teachings range from a powerful and fun vinyasa to meditation and the 8 limbs of yoga.

In 2015, Jes studied with Jane Austin in San Francisco, who focuses on prenatal and postnatal health and wellness.  Jes is certified through her school, Mama Tree, and highly recommends any woman thinking about being a mama, pregnant, or already a mama to learn from Jane.

In March 2018 Jes wrapped up her 500-hour program with YogaWorks and joined their team of teachers in August 2018. Her mentors through YogaWorks are Christy Brown, Michele Klink, Sarah Ezrin, and Erika Trice.

Jes now resides and teaches in Sonoma County, Ca. Through Yoga Alliance, she is an ERYT 200 // RYT 500 // YACEP // RPYT 90.  She specializes in beginner, vinyasa (flow), yin, home practice, prenatal, postnatal, mama + baby, core, and barre.

She teaches group classes, privates, workshops, and events. Jes also works with yoga + fitness teachers on their personal brands.

Jes's first child, Hudson, arrived in September 2015; she and her husband could not be more overjoyed!  Her second child, Bodhi, arrived in February 2017 and her daughter Noa Rose arrived in August 2019.

A jack of many trades, she's enjoying a big life in a small town.
