Most yoga teachers agree, having a regular home practice is vital to truly "absorbing" yoga, but where to start? How do you know what to do without the teacher? How to fill up 60 or 75 minutes with poses? And where will that time come from?
Good news! Your home yoga practice can be done in much less than 60 minutes and is adaptable to the time you have available. This workshop will introduce practical practices designed to make a home practice simple, doable, and enough of a challenge to keep you eager to step onto your mat or sit for meditation. Barbra will make the best practices from the ancient tradition of yoga applicable for today and show you how to recognize and listen to your inner teacher, the who is always available, 24/7.
We'll experience a combination of movement, discussion, pranayama, chanting, and meditation. During the workshop you'll be invited to record the pranayama and meditation for later, and you'll receive handouts of a short morning and evening asana practice, along with pranayama, and meditation practices. You will learn tips on follow through, and reassurance on how to finally do a regular practice. At last, a way to practice at home!
Sign up early, this class is limited to 20 students. No Refund if less than 24 hour cancellation.
